POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Please read the following guidelines carefully when preparing your poster.

POSTER DIMENSIONS & MOUNTING

All presenting authors attending the conference should bring their printed posters to the venue. The conference does not include any e-posters, therefore, there is no need to upload posters online.

Width: 90 cm

Height: 120 cm

PORTRAIT ORIENTATION

A0 format is the most suitable format. Your poster should not exceed the recommended size. You can download (File > Create a copy > Download a copy) a poster template with the conference logo. The poster area will be located in the rooms titled Athènes, Stockholm, Rome, and Shanghaï. The area will be open for poster mounting from Tuesday, 3 June, at 07:30.

Posters should be set up ideally no later than the Opening Ceremony (Tuesday, 3 June, at 08:30) and remain in place for the duration of the conference.

Each poster will be placed on one side of the board, and each will be given its unique number. Please make sure to mount your poster on the poster board with the number corresponding to the number assigned to your poster.

Suitable fixing material will be provided by the organisers. If the posters are made of a different material than paper (e.g. cloth), organisers do not guarantee that the posters will remain in place.

Tips for preparing a poster

Content: English is the official language of the conference. The presenting authors are entirely responsible for the poster content. Use a short descriptive title, full names of contributing authors, and their affiliations.

Make your message clear: Highlight your AIM and CONCLUSION using bold and coloured fonts.

Be brief: Use bullet points and only the most relevant text. 200-300 words are more than enough for the main text.

Pictures and graphics: Particular attention should be paid to the resolution of pictures. As a rule of thumb, use at least 300 dpi resolution. Make use of colour and graphics. At least 3 pictures or figures are recommended to graphically show your study results.

POSTER SESSION

Posters will be visible during the conference and presenting authors are encouraged to be present during the Poster Session on Tuesday, 3 June, 17:00 – 18:00, to answer possible questions from the delegates. You can make yourself available for a discussion near your poster also during the coffee breaks and lunch breaks if you wish.

REMOVING YOUR POSTER

Please remove your poster on Thursday, 5 June, until 12:30.

The conference organisers are not responsible for any loss or damage to posters that are not removed by the specified time. Posters left behind after this time will be disposed of.
